Summer concert

The Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra’s summer concert will take place at St Paul’s Church, 120 Augustus Road, Wimbledon on Saturday 24 June at 7.30pm.

WSO is delighted to be working with new conductor Thomas Payne and welcomes soloist Yuliya Ostapchuk to play Prokofiev’s first violin concerto. Also in the programme are works by Brahms and Shostakovich

Scandinavian Winter concert

WSO is delighted to welcome soloists Charlotte Scott and Rosalind Ventris to play Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola amongst our choice of Scandinavian composers, Grieg and Nielsen along with English composer Ruth Gipps.

The concert will be conducted by Marc Dooley who is making his conducting debut with Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra

Ralph Vaughan Williams 150y anniversary concert

The Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra’s first concert in the 2022/23 season will take place at St Matthew’s Church, Durham Road, Raynes Park on Saturday 19 November 2022 at 7.30pm.

WSO is delighted to welcome singer Elizabeth Karani and conductor Edmund Whitehead for this concert dedicated to the 150y anniversary of the birth of Ralph Vaughan Williams.
