Come and listen to a musical adaptation of The Fir Tree by Hans Christian Andersen - brought to life by the Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra with narrator and author Zeb Soanes and award-winning composer and conductor Leo Geyer.
Zeb Soanes is a familiar voice to millions. He is a newsreader on BBC Radio 4's Today Programme, Six O'Clock News and The News Quiz and puts the nation to bed with The Shipping Forecast. On television he has presented The BBC Proms and he performs with orchestras around the UK.
Each performance (one at 2pm and a second at 4pm) will last approximately one hour and there will be no interval. We strongly recommend pre-booking as our previous family concerts have been sell outs (tickets will be on sale from mid-October)!
